Internships

BIAC is accepting applications for internships in its Paris office. Internships are for a period of three to six months.

Only full-time students who can benefit from a Memorandum of Agreement between their releasing institution and BIAC will be eligible for the internship. Areas of study must be directly related to the BIAC's programme of work.

Candidates should have finished an undergraduate degree as minimum preference is given to students currently enrolled in a Masters Degree program -- and be available for the full internship period. In return, interns will be integrated into a close-knit office of 9 full time staff from different nationalities (working language is English) and work in an international business and diplomatic environment, with the OECD as its partner.

Job responsibilities will focus on assisting BIAC Policy Managers in different aspects of their work including:

  • Background research on policy topics
  • Contacting and maintaining business network involved in different committees
  • Assisting in organisation and preparation of meetings
  • Attending OECD meetings with or in replacement of BIAC Policy Manager
  • Contributing to writing and editing of policy documents
  • Assisting with meeting summary records

Desired candidate must:

  • Be fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Have basic knowledge of French
  • Have a strong general interest in international relations/business/diplomacy
  • Have interest and/or experience in one or several policy areas dealt with by BIAC
  • Have positive, flexible attitude and be ready to do a range of tasks

The BIAC internships offer a modest stipend and can provide candidates with valuable experience, references and contacts useful for their future career in the OECD, other international organisations or international business associations.

If you have the required background and would like to apply for an internship, please send your CV and cover letter to:
